Diplomová práce „John Zorn mezi lety 1990 a 1994“ pojednává o Zornových kapelách Naked City a Painkiller. Hlavními body této práce jsou zaprvé: zkoumání kombinace improvizované hudby s žánry hardcore a metal, zadruhé: rocková estetika(konkrétně metalová, hardcorová) jako součást Noise-improvizace , zajímají mne způsoby, jakými Zorn pracuje s touto estetikou, jak jí zapojuje do své tvorby, jakých témat …more
Abstract:
The diploma thesis “John Zorn between 1990 and 1994“ concerns Zorn’s bands Naked City and Painkiller. The main focus of the thesis are: the study of the combination of improvised music with hard-core and metal music; rock aesthetics (in particular metal and hard-core aesthetics) as part of Noise-improvisation, namely the ways in which Zorn employs this aesthetics, how he incorporates it into his work …more
