Práce zohledňuje téma etiky Petera Singera. Především se zabývá preferenčním utilitarismem, principem rovného zvažování zájmů a jeho aplikací na různá témata. Tento princip je aplikován na podporu kritiky speciesistického smýšlení o hodnotě života lidského a zvířecího. Abstract:
This thesis discusses the topic of Peter Singer´s ethics. Its main focus is the issue of preference utilitarianism. This thesis work up the principle of equal consideration of interests within the frame of preference utilitarianism. The principle of equal consideration is then applied to critisism of speciesism.
