Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma “Podpora cestování a přechodného ubytování znevýhodněných skupin osob v Česku a na Slovensku“ je z oblasti sociálního cestovního ruchu, který v poslední době získává na významnosti. Cílem této práce je zjistit a porovnat nástroje podpory na cestování a přechodné ubytování dětí, mládeže, rodin s dětmi, seniorů a zdravotně handicapovaných z pohledu vlád České republiky a Slovenské republiky. Detailněji je práce zaměřena na formy podpory pro sociální skupinu seniorů. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do tří částí: teoretické, analytické a návrhové. První část se zabývá definicí samotného cestovního ruchu a dále zaměřením na cestovní ruch seniorů. Druhá část nejdříve analyzuje demografický vývoj seniorů v ČR a SR. Následně metodou deskripce jsou představeny současné nástroje podpory pro cestování seniorů v ČR a SR. Získaná sekundární data jsou zpracována výzkumnou metodou komparace. Stanovená hypotéza předpokládá, že senioři v České republice cestují v rámci lázeňské péče častěji než senioři na Slovensku. Tato hypotéza je potvrzena, neboť se ukázalo, že celkový počet českých obyvatel je přibližně dvakrát vyšší než slovenských obyvatel, a navíc podíl seniorů v Česku je znatelně vyšší než podíl slovenských seniorů. Poslední část je rozdělena na tři části: první navrhuje další nástroje podpory cestování seniorů, druhá navrhuje lepší propagaci slev pro seniory v oblasti cestování ze strany zdravotních pojišťoven a třetí je zaměřena na popsání současné situace a prognóze zotavení cestovního ruchu z důvodu vypuknutí pandemie COVID-19.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis "Support for travel and temporary accommodation of disadvantaged groups in Czechia and Slovakia" covers social tourism, which has recently gained in importance. The aim of this work is to identify and compare support programs for travel and temporary accommodation of children, youth, families with children, senior citizens and the disabled as applied by the governments of the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. It then focuses in more detail on forms of support for senior citizens. The thesis is split into three parts: theoretical, analytical and proposal. The first part deals with the definition of tourism and delves into senior citizen tourism. The second part first analyzes the demographic development of senior citizens in Czechia and Slovakia. Then it presents the current tools of support for senior citizens' travel in each country. The obtained secondary data is processed by the comparison research method. The established hypothesis states that senior citizens of Czechia travel for spa care more often than those of Slovakia. This hypothesis is confirmed, because not only is the population of Czechia approximately twice as big as that of Slovakia, the proportion of senior citizens in Czechia is significantly higher than that of Slovakia. The proposal part is divided into three sections: the first proposes other tools to support senior citizen travel, the second recommends improved promotion of discounts for their travels by health insurance companies and the third focuses on describing the current situation and forecasting of tourism recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic.
