Mayas and Aztecs sculpture
Abstract:
Ve své bakalářské práci s názvem „Mayská a Aztécká plastika“ jsem se zaměřil na sochařství starobylých Aztéků a Mayů. Cílem je vytvoření esteticky zajímavé dekorativní sochy, inspirované těmito kulturami. Základem není hluboká výtvarná myšlenka, ale řemeslná práce, jenž dovoluje cvičení řemeslného impulsu a uspokojuje člověka pocitem ovládnutí suroviny, ze které tvoří.
Abstract:
In „ the Maya and Aztec art of sculpture“ I focused on the plastic art of the ancient Aztecs and Mayas. The aim was to create an estetic and interesting decorative piece of plastic art inspired by these cultures. The base was not the profound art idea, it was the craft work whitch enables exercising craft impulse and satisfies the creator by the way of fieling in control of the material used.
