Non-material cultural UNESCO Heritage in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

This thesis is dedicated to the non-material cultural UNESCO heritage in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two main parts: the theoretical and the practical one. The theoretical part deals with UNESCO and cultural UNESCO heritage. Then we attend to the monuments of the Czech Republic registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In the practical part we focus on the mapping of Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Czech Republic and analyse four masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity in Bohemia and Moravia. In the end of the work, we evaluate the importance and benefit of the presented monuments for tourism.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá nehmotným kulturnímu dědictvím UNESCO v České republice. Naše práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části: na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části, se zabýváme organizací UNESCO a kulturním dědictvím UNESCO. Dále se věnujeme památkám České republiky zapsaným na Seznamu světového dědictví UNESCO. V praktické části se zaměřujeme na mapování nehmotného kulturního dědictví v České republice a analyzujeme čtyři mistrovská díla ústního a nemateriálního dědictví lidstva v Čechách a na Moravě. V závěru práce vyhodnocujeme význam a přínos prezentovaných památek pro cestovní ruch.
