Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the life and work of photographer Ivan Kováč, a prominent representative of traditional documentary photography and the first Slovak "on the road" photographer. The thesis contains the historical context of Slovak documentary photography at the time of Kováč´s life and introduces a selection of inspirations for his work.
Abstract:
Témou mojej bakalárskej práce je život a dielo fotografa Ivana Kováča do roku 2019, ktorý patrí k popredným zástupcom tradičnej dokumentárnej fotografie a prvým predstaviteľom fotografie „on the road“ na Slovensku. Súčasťou tejto práce je historický kontext dokumentárnej fotografie na Slovensku počas jeho života a stručné predstavenie vybraných vzorov pre jeho tvorbu.
