Strategy for sustainable development of the company Dřevotyp

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou udržitelného rozvoje v kontextu firemní strategie malé velkoobchodní společnosti Dřevotyp. Cílem práce je na základě zpracované strategické analýzy vytvořit vhodnou strategii udržitelného rozvoje a na základě její implementace navrhnout inovovaný byznys model společnosti Dřevotyp. První část bakalářské práce obsahuje teoretický základ, kde jsou přehledně popsané základní principy udržitelnosti, CSR, Tripple bottom line, jaký je proces provedení strategické analýzy, její metodologie, strategie udržitelnosti ve formě ESG a základní potřebná teorie pro vytvoření business model canvas. Druhá o nic méně důležitá praktická část obsahuje rozbor současného stavu společnosti Dřevotyp a to jak jejího vnějšího tak i vnitřního prostředí právě prostřednictvím nástrojů nadefinovaných v teoretické části, jako je například Porterův model pěti sil, PESTLE analýza, VRIO analýza a další. Celá tato část je zpracována v kontextu udržitelného rozvoje a shrnuta ve finální SWOT analýze. Získané poznatky jsou využity pro upravení současného business model canvas společnosti tak, aby splňoval podmínky udržitelného rozvoje a ESG. Tyto úpravy jsou ve formě aplikovatelných doporučení podložených výsledky analýz.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of sustainable development in the context of the corporate strategy of a small wholesale company Dřevotyp. The aim of the thesis is to create a suitable strategy for sustainable development based on the strategic analysis and to propose an innovative business model for Dřevotyp company based on its implementation. The first part of the bachelor thesis contains the theoretical basis where the basic principles of sustainability, CSR, the triple bottom line, what is the process of conducting a strategic analysis, its methodology, sustainability strategy in the form of ESG and the basic theory needed to create a business model canvas are clearly described. The second, no less important practical part contains the analysis of the current state of Dřevotyp and its external and internal environment just through the tools defined in the theoretical part, such as Porter's Five Forces Model, PESTLE analysis, VRIO analysis and others. This whole section is elaborated in the context of sustainable development and summarized in the final SWOT analysis. The findings are used to adjust the current business model canvas of the company to meet the conditions of sustainable development and ESG. These adjustments are in the form of applicable recommendations supported by the results of the analyses.
