Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá občanskou válkou ve Finsku z pohledu finského spisovatele Franse Eemila Sillanpääa. Shrnula jsem důležitá fakta občanské války, nastínila jsem autorův život a kdo ovlivnil jeho literární styl. O občanské válce pojednávají romány Zbožná bída (Hurskas kurjuus) a Umírala mladičká (Nuorena nukkunut), v nichž autor válku vylíčil z pohledu hlavního hrdiny bez politického patosu. Úkolem práce bylo nastínit, jaký interpretační postoj k občanské válce zaujal a zdali byl tento konflikt v jeho románech hlavním tématem.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the Civil War in Finland from the point of view of the Finnish writer Frans Eemil Sillanpää. I summarized the important facts of the Civil War, delineated the author's life and who influenced his literary style. The author follows up the Civil War in novels Meek Heritage (Hurskas kurjuus) and Fallen Asleep While Young (Nuorena nukkunut), in which he portrayed the war from the perspective of a hero without political pathos. The task of this work was to describe what was the author's interpretative approach to the Civil War and whether the conflict was the main theme in his novels.
