Evaluation to providing of employee benefits related to gender of employees

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zjistit, zda existuje vztah mezi pohlavím respondentů a jejich odpověďmi o zaměstnaneckých výhodách. Jedním z cílů práce je zjistit, zda výběr mezi vyšší mzdou a nefinančním benefitem závisí na pohlaví. Práce také zkoumá informovanost žen a mužů o zaměstnaneckých benefitech a důležitost jednotlivých benefitů pro konkrétního zaměstnance. Pro udržení zaměstnanců je důležité zjistit, zda má ohodnocení odvedené práce vliv na spokojenost s prací. Ke zjištění výsledků byly použity statistické metody a výsledky byly porovnány s výsledky jiných studií. Údaje poskytlo 192 respondentů, kteří vyplnili krátký dotazník. Výsledkem výzkumu je zjištění, že informovanost, výběr mezi vyšší mzdou a nefinančním benefitem a preference benefitů nezávisí na pohlaví. Ohodnocení odvedené práce má vliv na spokojenost s prací.

Abstract:

The aim of paper was to find out whether there is a relation between the gender of the respondents and their responses about employee benefits. One of the objectives of the paper is to find out whether the choice between higher pay and non-financial benefit depends on gender. The thesis also examines awareness of women and men of employee benefits and the importance of each benefit for particular employee. For employee retention is important to find out whether the valuation of the work done has an impact on job satisfaction. Statistical methods were used to determine the results and the results were compared with the results of other studies. 192 respondents provided data by completing a short questionnaire. The result of the research is that awareness, choice between higher pay and non-financial benefit and preference for benefits are not dependent on gender. The valuation of the work done has an impact on job satisfaction.
