Confrontation of the Meaning System and coding of the ROR regarding the Comprehensive System

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je hledání vztahu mezi dvěma diagnostickými metodami: Dotazníkem významu (DV) manželů Kreitlerových (skórovaní pomocí Významového systému) a Rorschachovou metodou (skórování podle Exnerova Komprehensivního systému). Ke srovnání těchto metod vedlo přesvědčení o podobnosti psychických procesů, které se účastní při odpovídání a reakcích na obě metody. U obou osoba interpretuje podnět a přisuzuje mu význam. Proto je úloha významu zkoumána v obou metodách. A to především způsob, jakým se různé tendence v přisuzování významu, které jsou zjišťovány pomocí DV, projeví při odpovídání na ROR. Práce se nejprve poměrně rozsáhle zabývá literaturou o dosavadním výzkumu diagnostických metod (obecně) i konkrétně o DV a ROR a jsou vytvořeny určité předpoklady o podobnostech a rozdílech těchto metod. Ty jsou následně zkoumané empiricky. Studovaný vzorek se skládal pouze z 18 probandů a proto má výzkum za úlohu spíše explorovat možné vztahy a pouze předběžně potvrdit či vyvrátit některé hypotézy. Výsledky naznačují, že některé neuvědomované tendence a styly, jakými osoba přisuzuje význam podnětům, se projevují specifickým způsobem v obou metodách. Jsme přesvědčeni, že jsou v této práci důkazy o tom, že by použití obou metod při diagnostice mohlo napomoci k bohatšímu pohledu na vnitřní svět významů osoby.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to look for the relation between two diagnostic methods: a Meaning Questionaire (MQ) of Kreitler´s ( coding regarding the Meaning System ) and the Roschach methods ( coding regarding the Exner Comprehensive System). To the comparison of these methods lead the persuation of the similarity of the psychological processes, which are present by the responding to both methods. By both these methods the person is interpreting a cue and assigning the meaning to it. That is why the subject of the meaning is examined in both methods. In particular the way the different tendences in assigning the meaning, which are examining thanks to the MQ, are evident while responding to ROR. The thesis is firstly widely focused on the literature about the so far known survey of the diagnostical methods ( in general ) and also in particular about the MQ and ROR. And also the presumption of these both methods about the similarities and differences are created. These are then examined empirically. The research sample consisted of only 18 probands and that is why the research has more the aim to explore possible relations and also to preliminary confirm or to controvert some hypothesis. The results imply, that some uncouncious tendences and styles, which the person uses to find the meaning of the cues, are evident in a specific way in both methods. We are convinced there are evidences in this thesis about the fact, that by using both methods while diagnosing it might help to enrich the view on the inside world of the meaning of the person.
