The Importance of Food Security During Natural Disasters

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na význam potravinové bezpečnosti během živelních pohrom, s akcentem na potravinovou bezpečnost při povodni. Text se zaměřuje na analýzu faktorů ovlivňujících potravinovou bezpečnost, dopadů živelních pohrom na zásoby potravin, zemědělství, infrastrukturu a distribuci potravin. Cílem této práce je zkoumat význam potravinové bezpečnosti během živelních pohrom s akcentem na bezpečnost potravin při povodni, a analyzovat vliv těchto událostí na potravinový systém a lidskou populaci. Výsledky práce mají přispět k lepšímu porozumění významu potravinové bezpečnosti během živelních pohrom a vytvořit základ pro přípravu, prevenci a zvládání těchto událostí. Získané poznatky budou mít praktický přínos pro tvorbu politiky, strategie a opatření vedoucích k udržitelné potravinové bezpečnosti v době, kdy je svět stále více vystaven rizikům spojeným se změnami klimatu a dalšími faktory.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the importance of food security during natural disasters, with an emphasis on food security during a flood. The text focuses on the analysis of factors affecting food security, the impact of natural disasters on food supplies, agriculture, infrastructure and food distribution. The aim of this thesis is to examine the importance of food security during natural disasters with an emphasis on food security during a flood, and to analyze the impact of these events on the food system and human population. The results of the work should contribute to a better understanding of the importance of food security during natural disasters and create a basis for the preparation, prevention and management of these events. The knowledge gained will have a practical contribution to the creation of policy, strategies and measures leading to sustainable food security at a time when the world is increasingly exposed to risks associated with climate change and other factors.
