Předložená disertační práce se věnuje zkoumání cesty teorie množin do české odborné i školské literatury. Nejprve představí samotný vznik teorie množin a její přední představitele ve světě, zejména Georga Cantora a matematiky vytvářející axiomatické systémy teorie množin, opomenut ovšem nebude ani Cantorův předchůdce Bernard Bolzano. This dissertation investigates the path of set theory to the Czech professional and educational literature. At first, there will be presented the very origin of set theory and its leading representatives in the world, especially Georg Cantor and mathematicians creating axiomatic systems of set theory.
