Cultural monuments in the industrial afflicted region of Most

Abstract:

Kulturní památky se staly významnou součástí marketingové nabídky měst a obcí v rámci podpory rozvoje místního a regionálního cestovního ruchu. Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na geografickou a správní oblast, která svůj turistický potenciál teprve objevuje – okres Most. Tato lokalita je z velké části postižena povrchovou těžbou hnědého uhlí, řada obcí a měst byla v průběhu desítek let zlikvidována a s nimi zmizelo mnoho cenných kulturních památek. V současnosti se situace mění k lepšímu, díky rekultivacím se vrací život do nové krajiny a místní samosprávy věnují zvýšenou pozornost obnově svého kulturního dědictví, pořádají zapomenuté tradiční akce a za podpory grantových fondů opravují památky na svém území. Do regionu se postupně navracejí turisté z České republiky i zahraničí. Cílem této bakalářské práce je vyhodnocení situace v oblasti nemovitých kulturních památek v okrese Most z hlediska počtu, zastoupení jednotlivých kategorií, technického stavu a jejich současného i budoucího využití.

Abstract:

Abstract Cultural monuments have become an important part of the marketing offer of cities and municipalities in support of the development of local and regional tourism. This bachelor thesis is focused on the geographical and administrative area that has its tourist potential to discover first - the Most district. This locality is largely affected by opencast lignite mining, a number of municipalities and cities have been liquidated over the decades and many cultural monuments have disappeared with them. Currently, the situation is changing for the better, thanks to reclaimers, life is returning to the new landscape and local governments are paying increased attention to restoring their cultural heritage, organizing forgotten traditional events and repairing monuments in their territory with the support of grant funds. Tourists from the Czech Republic and abroad are gradually returning to the region. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the situation in the field of immovable cultural monuments in the district of Most in terms of number, representation of individual categories, technical condition and current and future use.
