Vocabulary visualization in learning of German language: in view of mnemotechnics

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused at mnemonic techniques and their use in the teaching of German language. The chosen technique of visualization is aimed at one of the most common problems of gaining new vocabulary- the gender of nouns. The theoretical part describes the origin of each mnemonic technique and their use in practice. The practical part involves the descritption of action research and methodological- didactic handbook for designed worksheets. The results of the efficiency of the worksheets were tested in the questionaire in which pupils of the eighth grade of the elementary school evaluated two-weeks work with those designed worksheets.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je věnována mnemotechnikám a jejich využití při výuce německého jazyka. Zvolenou techniku vizualizace zaměřuji na jeden z nejčastějších problémů při osvojování slovní zásoby – rody podstatných jmen. V teoretické části uvádím původ jednotlivých mnemotechnik a jejich využití v praxi. Dále zde představuji techniku vizualizace a její vliv na paměť. Praktickou část tvoří popis akčního výzkumu a metodicko-didaktická příručka k navrženým pracovním listům. Výsledky jejich efektivity byly ověřeny za pomoci dotazníku, kterým žáci 8. třídy základní školy ohodnotili dvoutýdenní práci s navrženými pracovními listy.
