Some terms of Czech printing terminology
Abstract:
Cílem této bakalářské diplomové práce je jazykový vývoj, sémantika a etymologie vybraných termínů polygrafického názvosloví v historicko-kulturních souvislostech. Práce u vybraných termínů sleduje stav ve staré češtině, češtině 18.-19. století a současné češtině, které srovnává s jejich odborným použitím. Součástí práce je i přiblížení vývoje knihtisku.
Abstract:
The aim of this Bachelor thesis is language development, semantics and etymology of selected terms of Czech printing terminology in historical-cultural context. The thesis compares selected terms in old Czech, 18th- and 19th-century Czech and new Czech with their professional use. The thesis also contains development of the printing press.
