Abstract:

Tématem mé bakalářské práce je interpretace televizní povídky zvané "Be right back" britského seriálu Černé zrcadlo, jehož autorem je Charlie Brooker. Jedná se o samostatné televizní povídky, které jsou zasazené do blízké budoucnosti, prolínající se ale v mnoha ohledech s dobou naší. Série technologicky paranoidního podobenství se zabývá nečekanými a často nezamýšlenými důsledky příliš prudkého rozvoje technologií. Vybrala jsem tři zlomové okamžiky příběhu, které jsem úmyslně interpretovala rozdílnými fotografickými žánry propojenými příběhem. Jedná se o figuru, zátiší a krajinu. Snažila jsem se nejenom vyjádřit vizuální podobu a obsah příběhu prostřednictvím kontrastních kombinací umělých a přírodních motivů, ale také pocity, které člověk zažívá při ztrátě blízkého člověka. Přes rozdílnost sérií dochází k jejich propojení vždy v posledním snímku, ať už mihnoucí se figurou nebo gestem. Své fotografie prezentuji prostřednictvím 3D technologie. Líbí se mi, jak připravený snímek vypadá při pohledu s anaglyfickými brýlemi, ale také i bez nich. Vytváří zvláštní atmosféru, která mi k interpretaci vybraného příběhu připadá vhodná a odpovídající.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis presents an interpretation of a specific story with the title Be right back, an episode from the Black Mirror series. It examines modern society, particularly the serious consequences of new technologies. Episodes are standalone, usually set in an alternative present or near future. It was not my intention to recreate the same story by photographs. Insted I tried to find the best way to express the visuality, emotions and atmosphere. That is why I chose the three most important breaking moments, which I displayed in three differents generes figure photography, still life and landscape. But in the end, they always connect trought a figure or gesture. The photographs have in common a strange and sterile atmosphere, mostly with contrast lightening and some of them are almost dramatic. I exposed them trought 3D technology, which is not particularly popular these days, but I found it interesting for its use in creative photography. I like the way the pictures look like when looking at them with and without analytical glasses. It creates a particular atmosphere.
