Dilemmas of social workers in the department of material need of the Labor Office of the Czech Republic working with clients

Abstract:

Tématem mé bakalářské práce jsou dilemata sociálních pracovníků na oddělení hmotné nouze úřadu práce při práci s klienty. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, a to na teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část objasňuje vymezení sociálního pracovníka a oddělení hmotné nouze. Dále je zaměřena na klienta hmotné nouze a také na jeho vztah mezi ním a sociálním pracovníkem. Poslední podkapitola teoretické části je věnována samotným dilematům sociálních pracovníků. Empirická část se zaměřuje nejprve na metodologii a následně na výsledky výzkumu, který proběhl formou šesti polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Cílem práce je objasnit, jaká potenciální dilemata se mohou týkat sociálních pracovníků na oddělení hmotné nouze, jakým způsobem na ně reagují a co si odnášejí z dilematických situací.

Abstract:

The topic of my bachelor thesis is the dilemmas of social workers in the material need department of the labor office when working with clients. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part clarifies the definition of a social worker and the department of material need. It also focuses on the client of material need and also on his relationship between him and the social worker. The last subchapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the very dilemmas of social workers. The empirical part focuses first on the methodology and then on the results of the research, which took place in the form of six semi-structured interviews. The aim of this work is to clarify what potential dilemmas may concern social workers in the department of material need, how they react to them and what they take away from dilemma situations.
