Intelligent irrigation systems in landscape architecture

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou inteligentních závlahových systémů v objektech zahradní a krajinářské architektury. Důraz je kladen na zpracování závlahových systémů od zdroje vody přes jednotlivé komponenty soustavy až po rozdělení jednotlivých způsobů zálivky. Autor se výrazně specializuje na inteligentní a šetrné způsoby závlahy, které šetří vodní zdroje, předchází případným haváriím, šetří čas a finance. Dále popisuje jednotlivé způsoby zálivky jednotlivých vegetačních prvků s důrazem na použití závlahy v objektech ZaKA. Tato práce by měla čtenáře seznámit s automatickými závlahovými systémy v různých provedeních, dále by měla sloužit jako porovnání přínosů konvenčních automatických systémů a inteligentních zavlažovacích systémů. Teoretické informace v oblasti automatických závlah autor nabyl během výuky předmětu mechanizace během studia na Mendelově univerzitě. Tyto znalosti si dále systematicky prohluboval pomocí školení a workshopů od předních světových závlahářských firem. Tyto teoretické dovednosti si dále ukotvil pomocí praktických realizací několika automatických závlahových systémů. Veškeré teoretické a praktické zkušenosti s touto problematikou student uplatnil v praktické části diplomové práce při zpracování dvou variant technické dokumentace automatického závlahového systému pro rodinou zahradu v Teplé. První varianta využívá nejmodernější technologie pro provoz, ovládání a kontrolu inteligentního závlahového systému, kdež to druhé provedení se zaměřuje na konvenční pojetí s využitím tradičních prvků automatického závlahového systému. Na základě těchto dvou variant vyhotovení technické dokumentace vyhodnocuje tvůrce zájem investora o využití jednotlivých moderních komponentů závlahového systému.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issues concerning intelligent irrigation systems in landscaping architecture. The emphasis is placed on processing the irrigation systems from the water source throughout the individual components of the system all the way to the division of individual methods of watering. The author's major focus is on developing smart and considerate methods of irrigation, which saves water sources, prevents possible accidents and is more efficient by saving time and money. Furthermore, the author describes various methods of watering individual vegetation elements with emphasis on the use of irrigation in ZaKA buildings. This thesis aims to familiarize the reader with automatic irrigation systems of various designs and should also serve as a comparison of the benefits of conventional automatic systems and intelligent irrigation systems. The author acquired theoretical knowledge in the field of automatic irrigation during his time at the university while attending the classes of mechanization. Additionally, he built on his skills systematically by attending various workshops and undergoing training from the world's leading irrigation companies. He further anchored these theoretical skills through practical implementations of several automatic irrigation systems in the past. The author applied all of this theoretical and practical experience in the practical part of the thesis where he developed two variants of technical documentation of an automatic irrigation system for a family garden in Teplá. The first variant uses state-of-the-art technology for the operation, control and monitoring of a intelligent irrigation system, while the second variant focuses on developing more of a conventional concept using traditional elements of an automatic irrigation system. Based on these two variants of technical documentation, the author evaluates the investor's interest in the use of individual modern components of the irrigation system.
