Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zameriava na vplyv Československa na utváranie a vznik nezávislého Štátu Izrael v rokoch 1945 – 1948. Po stručnom úvode do histórie vzťahov Československa a židovského národa sa práca venuje československej diplomatickej a vojenskej pomoci Bola dôležitá nielen pri prejednávaní Palestínskej otázky na pôde Valného zhromaždenia OSN, ale predovšetkým po vzniku židovského štátu, kedy čelil vojne proti siedmim Arabským krajinám, a zbrane dodané Československom napriek medzinárodnému embargu boli jednou z príčin víťazstva. Sústredí sa aj na dôvody rozhodnutí a činov a vonkajšie vplyvy na túto pomoc.

Abstract:

The Bachelor's thesis describes the influence of Czechoslovakia on forming and establishment of the independent State Israel in years 1945 – 1948. After a short introduction into the history of relations of Czechoslovakia and the Jewish nation, the work focuses on the diplomatic and military aid provided by Czechoslovakia. It was vital not only when the question of Palestine was discussed in the UN General Assembly, but especially when the Jewish state was founded and faced war with seven Arab countries, as the weapons shipped from Czechoslovakia despite the international arms embargo on the region were one of the reasons of its victory. It also covers the reasons behind the decisions made and the external influences on this act of help.
