Comparison of methods for rating pupils in swimming lessons in Great Britain and the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Srovnání metod hodnocení žáků v plavecké výuce v Anglii a v České republice se zabývá v teoretické části metodikou plavání, strukturou vyučovacích hodin, zasazením plavání v RVP, hodnocením, a to konkrétně, co rozumíme pod pojmem hodnocení, jaké jsou funkce a typy hodnocení, jaké mohou nastat chyby při hodnocení a jak se těmto chybám vyvarovat, ale zejména systémem hodnocení plaveckých výkonů u nás v ČR ve srovnání se systémem hodnocení ve Velké Británii. Výzkumná část pomocí dotazníků pro trenéry a rodiče zjišťuje, zda jsou spokojeni s dosavadním systémem hodnocení, zda mají pocit, že jsou dostatečně informovaní, nebo zda by spíše uvítali zlepšení v tomto systému. V dotazníku je krátce seznamuji s návrhem systému hodnocení, pokud by měli zájem, mohou se k tomu taktéž vyjádřit. Ve školách poté dále zjišťuji od učitelů/ředitelů, opět pomocí dotazníků, zda by uvítali propojení mezi hodnocením z plavecké výuky a tělesnou výchovou. Jelikož hodně žáků, kteří jsou uvolnění z tělesné výchovy kvůli zdravotním problémům, navštěvuje výuku plavání. Na závěr bych chtěla navrhnout nový systém hodnocení, který by vycházel z poznatků metod a systému hodnocení a výuky v plaveckých školách v Anglii.

Abstract:

Thesis titled Comparison of methods of ratings of pupils in swimming teaching in England and in the Czech republic is engaged in the theoretical part of the methodology of swimming, the structure of the teaching hours, the position swimming in the RVP, ratings, and more specifically, what do we understand under the concept of evaluation, what are the functions and types of evaluation, what may occur errors in the evaluation and how will these errors be avoided, but in particular a system of evaluation of the swimming performances for us in the Czech republic in comparison with the system in the Uk. The research part of using questionnaires for coaches and parents figuring out whether they are satisfied with the current ratings system, whether they feel that they are sufficiently informed, or whether they rather welcomed the improvement in this system. In the questionnaire is briefly acquainted with the design of the evaluation system, if they would be interested, can it also express. In the schools then further find from teachers/principals, again using a questionnaire, whether they would have welcomed the link between the evaluation of the swimming instruction and physical education. Since a lot of pupils who are release from physical education due to health problems, attends swimming lessons. In conclusion, I would like to propose a new ratings system that would be based on the knowledge of the methods and system of evaluation and instruction in swimming schools in England.
