The influence of animotherapy on sustainability of self-sufficiency by elderly people in daily routines

Abstract:

Úvod Bakalářské práce s názvem Vliv animoterapie na udržení soběstačnosti u seniorů při každodenních všedních činnostech informuje o animoterapeutických a ergoterapeutických přístupech a jejich metodách, které přispívají k soběstačnosti seniorů. Cíl práce Cílem práce je zmapovat průběh animoterapie v pobytovém sociálním zařízení a vyhodnotit její vliv na fyzickou a psychickou kondici seniora a tím přispět k poznání dané problematiky. Metody práce V metodice byly využity ergoterapeutické techniky hodnotící aktuální stav u vstupního i výstupního vyšetření, krátkodobý a dlouhodobý ergoterapeutický plán, realizace a hodnocení výsledků vhodného probanda. Testování proběhlo dle Barthelové, ADL, IADL, MMSE goniometrie, svalový test dle Jandy a návštěvní program AAT. Diskuze Je postavena na přístupech a dostupnosti animoterapie a ergoterapie. Závěr bakalářské práce Využitím zvířat a ergoterapie došlo k postupnému zlepšení zejména psychického stavu klientky. Na základě výsledků doporučuji v animoterapii a ergoterapii pokračovat.

Abstract:

Structured abstact: Introduction The bachelor thesis "The Influence of Animotherapy on maintaining self-sufficiency in seniors in everyday work activities" contains informations about animatory and occupational therapy approaches and methods that contributes to self-sufficiency of seniors. The aim of the work Aim of the work is to map the progress of animotherapy in the social facilities and evaluate it's influence on the physical and mental condition of the senior and contribute to the knowledge of the given issue. Work methods Occupational therapy techniques has been used in order for meassure the participated person's health state both in entrance and exit examination. They have also been used for creating of the therapy plan for short and long term and for evaluation of apropirate tests. Barthel's ADL, IADL, MMSE goniometry, Janda muscle test, and AAT visit program, therapeutic methods were used. Discussion is based on the approaches and availability of animotherapy and occupational therapy. Conclusion The use of animals and occupational therapy helped gradually to improve the client's mental state. On the basis of the results I recommend to continue in animotherapy and occupational therapy.
