Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi stanovení hodnoty konečné sumy, v jejíž sumandu figurují kombinační čísla. Obsahuje využití binomické věty, vhodných úprav sumadu, využití diferenciálního nebo integrálního počtu. Dále se tato diplomová práce zabývá způsoby nejjednodušších rekurentních rovnic a posléze popisem následujících počítačových sumačních algoritmů. Jedná se Gosperův sumační algoritmus, který pracuje s hypergeometrickými posloupnostmi, metodu Sestry Mary Celine Fasenmyerové, která pracuje se sumou, jejíž sumand je řádně hypergeometrický výraz, Zeilbergerův algoritmus neboli The Method Of Creative Telescoping, který využívá postupů Gosperova algoritmu a myšlenek metody Sestry Mary Celine Fasenmyerové. Práce obsahuje mnoho řešených příkladů, složitější výpočty jsou prováděny v programu Mathematica 9. Pomocným programem se stal pro účely této práce Maple 14, který přispěl poskytnutím informace, zda existuje rekurentní vyjádření pro danou sumu a jaká je hodnota řádu rekurentní rovnice popisující tuto sumu.

Abstract:

This dissertation deals how to determinate values of the definite sum, in which summand figure binomial coefficients. It includes the use of binomial theorem, appropriate adjustments of the summand and the use differential and integral calculus. Then the thesis deals with modes of the simplest recurrence relations and after that deals with the description of the computer summation algorithm. These are Gosper´s Summation Algorithm that works with the hypergeometric sequences, The Method of Sister Mary Celine Fasenmyer working with the sum, which summand is proper hypergemetric term, Zeilberger´s algorithm also known as The Mehod Of Creative Telescoping that uses the processes of Gosper´s algorithm and ideas of sister Fasenmayer´s method. This thesis contains many solved examples, more complicated calculations are done in program Mathematica 9. The auxiliary program for the purpose of this dissertation Maple 14 contributed information if the recurrece relation for the given sum exists and what value of the recurrence relation order describing this sum is.
