Sports Buildings and the Culture of Sports Clubs in South Moravia in the years 1900-1948
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá kulturou a architekturou českých sportovních spolků v období let 1900 - 1948. Na příkladech měst Hodonína, Uherského Hradiště a okolí srovnává propojení umění, kultury a sportu v kulturním, dobovém a regionálním kontextu. V souvislosti s tím nastiňuje také jedinečný umělecký a kulturní projev tělovýchovné organizace Sokol.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the culture and architecture of czech sports clubs in the years 1900 - 1948. Using examples of Hodonín, Uherské Hradiště and districts compares connections between art, culture and sport in cultural, historical and regional context. The work also mentions unique art and cultural expression of sport club Sokol.
