Abstract:
This bachelor thesis is focused on the effect of Bi2O3 content on the formation of planar optical waveguides (hereafter referred to as waveguides) in a PbO-Bi2O3-Ga2O3 glassy system. The exposure of the samples was carried out on a translation stage using a focused laser with a wavelength of ë = 447 nm.
