Abstract:
Cílem práce je prezentovat Alfreda Tennysona jako typického představitele Viktoriánské doby. Práce analyzuje vybrané básně inspirované středověkými Artušovskými legendami. Nejdříve zmiňuje několik údajů o básníkovi samotném, typické rysy viktoriánské éry a vznik Idyl. Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is to present Alfred Tennyson as a typical representative of Victorian period. The thesis analyses selected poems inspired by medieval Arthurian legends. First it mentions the poet’s background, typical features of the Victorian era and creation of the Idylls.
