Jihad and the Foundations of Islamic Reformism

Abstract:

Záměrem diplomové práce je nastínit džihád v pojetí islámského reformismu a přiblížit koncepci džihádu předních muslimských učenců Ajatolláha Chomejního, Sajjida Kutba, Hasana al-Banná, Mahmúda Šaltúta a Abú?l A?lá Maudúdího. V diplomové práci také věnuji pozornost činnosti masových hnutí, kterými jsou salafíja, wahhábíja a Muslimské bratrstvo. Ve studii jsem rovněž objasnila problematiku islámského fundamentalismu. Na závěr se v diplomové práci věnuji i oblasti mučednictví, oběti a posmrtnému životu v ráji.

Abstract:

The intention of the Diploma Thesis is to outline jihad in the conception of the Islamic Reformism and to approach the concepts of the jihad by prominent Muslim scholars Ayatollah Khomeini, Sayyid Qutb, Hasan al-Bann?, Ma?müd Shaltüt, Abu?l A?la Maududi. In the Diploma Thesis I pay attention to the function of the mass movement, such are Salafiyya, Wahhabiyya and the Muslim Brotherhood. In this Thesis I have clarified the Islamic Fundamentalism problem as well. In conclusion I deal with the sphere of martyrdom, sacrifice and the hereafter in the paradise.
