The Novel Don Juan de la Mancha by Robert Menasse in the context of the Don Juan Theme
Abstract:
The thesis deals with a novel Don Juan de la Mancha written by an Austrian writer Robert Menasse. It is divided into two main parts: the first part focuses on the development of the Don Juan theme since the beginning till the present days; this section creates a context in which the novel is analysed in the second part of the thesis.
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá románem Don Juan de la Mancha rakouského spisovatele Roberta Menasseho. Je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí, přičemž první část je zaměřena na vývoj donjuanské látky od počátku až do současnosti a vytváří kontext, ve kterém je v druhé části román analyzován.
