Post surgical rehabilitation treatment in the knee meniscus injury.

Abstract:

In my thesis I'm considering the rehabilitation program post-meniscectomy, a more frequent case with less time and variations compared to the meniscal suture. A few hours after surgery, in absence of further information by the surgeon, it is possible to begin a specific rehabilitation protocol: Active ankle movements in inflected-extension Passive movements of the knee in inflected-extension, treating straight away the extension, which has to reach 0 degrees as soon as possible. Isometric and analytic contractions of the femoral quadriceps, avoiding the contraction of the femoral active movements of the ankle in inflected-tension

Abstract:

Nella mia tesi prender? in considerazione il programma riabilitativo post meniscectomia, caso molto pi? frequente e con minori variazioni di tempistica rispetto alla sutura meniscale. Gi? dopo qualche ora dall'intervento, in assenza di differenti indicazioni da parte del chirurgo, si pu? iniziare a eseguire uno specifico protocollo riabilitativo ? nei movimenti attivi di caviglia in flesso-estensione ? movimenti passivi di ginocchio in flesso-estensione, curando fin da subito l'estensione, che deve raggiungere i 0° il prima possibile ? contrazioni analitiche e isometriche del quadricipite femorale, evitando la cocontrazione dei femorali movimenti attivi di caviglia in flesso-estensione ? (compartimento posteriore della coscia) e dei glutei(compartimento posteriore della coscia) e dei glutei
