Spatial Differentation of the Rural Population Dynamics and Structure in the Moravian-Silesian Region

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je zhodnocení dynamiky a struktury venkovského obyvatelstva Moravskoslezského kraje. Práce se zabývá proměnami přirozené a migrační dynamiky a změnami ve věkové i pohlavní struktuře obyvatel. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou, metodickou a aplikační část. Teoretická část seznamuje se základními demografickými ukazateli a s vývojem obecných trendů v přirozené a migrační dynamice a ve struktuře obyvatel. Kapitola metodika popisuje podrobněji použitá data a ukazatele diplomové práce. Začátek aplikační kapitoly vymezuje Moravskoslezský kraj, jeho fyzicko-geografickou a socioekonomickou charakteristiku a rozmístění venkovských obcí. Poté následuje samotná analýza obyvatelstva. Práce popisuje změny typů obcí podle Webba ve dvou vymezených obdobích (1991?2000 a 2001?2010). Poslední část aplikované kapitoly se zabývá vývojem věkové struktury obcí Moravskoslezského kraje. Práce je doplněna o tabulky, grafy a mapy. Celkově jde o nalezení změn v dynamice a struktuře obyvatel v obcích Moravskoslezského kraje.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the dynamics and structures of the rural areas in the Moravian-Silesian Region. This thesis deals with natural changes, migration dynamics and changes in the age and sex structure of the population. The work is divided into three parts: theoretical, methodological and practical. The theoretical part explains basic demographic indexes and clarifies the evolution of general trends in natural and migration dynamics and population structure. The methodological part of the thesis describes in detail data and indexes which were used in the thesis. The practical part defines the Moravian-Silesian Region, its geographical and socioeconomic characteristics and the distribution of the rural population in the region followed by the analysis of the population. The analysis contains the description of changes of village types according to Webb?s method in certain time periods (1991?2000 and 2001?2010). The last part deals with the development of the age structure in villages in the Moravian-Silesian Region. Charts, tables and images are also included in the thesis. The main goal of the thesis is to find the dynamics and structural changes of the population of Moravian-Silesian villages.
