Blood Patterns in Violent Crimes

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zkoumáním krevních stop u násilných trestných činů. Práce nemá praktickou výzkumnou část, nýbrž je pouze teoretická. Ve svém samotném teoretickém základu jsem volila rozdělení do 3 základních částí a 7 kapitol. První částí jsou míněny kapitola první a druhá, které se věnují úvodu do problematiky jako takové a historii zkoumání krevních skvrn a historii kriminalistické biologie obecně. Kapitola třetí, která je druhou částí, se věnuje krvi a jejím anatomickým aspektům a rovněž soudnímu lékařství a poraněním, která mnohdy způsobují krevní skvrny. Kapitola čtvrtá otevírá třetí část práce a věnuje se zkoumání krevních skvrn především ve státech s typicky anglosaskou právní kulturou, která má pro zmíněnou problematiku vyhrazený celý vědní obor Bloodstain Pattern Analysis. Kapitola pátá, šestá a sedmá poté popisují jednotlivé disciplíny Bloodstain Pattern Analysis jako je zkoumání krevních skvrn a jejich klasifikace, metodologii oboru a její využití v praxi a dokumentace krevních stop.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the study of blood patterns in violent crimes. This work does not have a practical part with research, it is only theoretical. The first part, meant the first and second chapter, are devoted to an introduction to the issue as such as the history of blood stain research and the history of forensic biology in general. The third chapter, which is the second part, deals with blood and its anatomical aspects as well as forensic medicine and injuries, which often cause blood stains. Chapter four opens the last part of the work and is devoted to the study of blood stains, especially in countries with a typical Anglo-Saxon law culture. Those countries have a field of science reserved for the mentioned issue of blood stains called Bloodstain Pattern Analysis. Chapters five, six, and seven then describe the various disciplines of Bloodstain Pattern Analysis, such as the examination of bloodstains and their classification, the methodology of the field and its use in practice, and the documentation of blood patterns.
