Thesis aims to explore Swiss referendums, that concerned public opinion on joining the EU and discussion that was under way in Swiss daily press. Bachelor thesis is focused on Swiss referendums concerning accession to the EU, accession to the European Economic Area and on public initiative about the withdrawal of the EU accession application.
