Abstract:
Cílem práce je prozkoumání programových systémů pro úpravy šedotónových obrazů textu vzniklých při digitalizaci. Motivací je zvýšení kvality výsledků OCR na datech projektu DML-CZ. Práce obsahuje popisy programů Book Restorer, convert a Binarization Image Processor. Práce dále obsahuje popis formátu pro komprimaci obrazu JBIG2 a využití jeho vlastností pro měření kvality dat. Abstract:
The main target is to explore software for editing grayscale pictures created during digitization. The motivation is to increase quality of OCR results for data from project DML-CZ.
