Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá životem, osobností a tvorbou významného českého spisovatele Karla Čapka. Další část práce se zaměřuje na žánrový kontext a osvětlení záměny označení utopie jeho děl. Důležitým cílem bakalářské práce je také hledání příčiny jeho skeptického pohledu na lidský pokrok. Práce obsahuje kulturně-historický kontext Továrny na absolutno a Krakatitu, literární rozbor, analýzu chování postav a vliv technologie na jejich myšlení. Cílem práce je také analýza dobových kritik a reflektování proměny pohledů autorů doslovů jednotlivých vydání. V bakalářské práci se hodnotí, jak se Čapkova ideová východiska setkávají nebo míjejí s účinkem estetickým. Posledním cílem je také zjistit, zda Karel Čapek nalezl v pozdějším literárním vývoji svého pokračovatele.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the life, personality and work of the important Czech writer Karel Čapek. The next part of the work focuses on the genre context and lighting the confusion of the designation of the utopia of his works. An important goal of the bachelor's thesis is also to find the cause of his skeptical view of human progress. The work contains the cultural-historical context of the Továrna na absolutno and Krakatit, literary analysis, analysis of the behavior of the characters and the influence of technology on their thinking. The aim of the work is also the analysis of contemporary critics and the reflection of the change of views of the authors of the literals of individual editions. The bachelor's thesis evaluates how Čapek's ideological starting points meet or pass with an aesthetic effect. The last goal is also to find out whether Karel Čapek found his successor in the later literary development.
