Tato práce se zaměřuje na srovnání českého a anglického zvukového systému, upozorňuje na jejich shody a rozdíly jak v jednotlivých hláskách (fonémech), tak na úrovni suprasegmentálních fonologických jevů. This thesis is aimed at comparing and contrasting sound systems of English and Czech languages both on segmental and suprasegmental level. The thesis further describes vowels, diphthongs and consonants and stress, rhythm, intonation and connected speech.
