Care provided by school psychologists for pupils with affective and neurotic disorders at secondary technical schools

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce prezentuje aktivity školního psychologa v kontextu afektivních a úzkostných poruch žáků na SOŠ. Cílem práce bylo zmapovat tuto oblast školní psychologie, poukázat na jednotlivé sjednocující prvky péče školních psychologů o tyto žáky a případně vymezit mezery v podpoře daných žáků, ale taktéž psychologů samotných. V teoretické části jsou představeny duševní poruchy vyskytující se u adolescentů s konkrétním přihlédnutím k afektivním a úzkostným poruchám, dále jsou představeny možnosti péče v souvislosti se školními psychology, a nakonec jsou vymezeny navrhované intervence v oblasti vzdělávání pro tyto žáky. V empirické části je představena použitá kvalitativní metodologie ve formě polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a následně jsou rozpracovány výsledky výzkumu z rozhovorů se šesti školními psychology. Konečné slovo je věnováno diskusi a závěrečnému shrnutí výsledků výzkumu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis presents activities of school psychologist in context of affective and neurotic disorders of pupils at secondary technical schools. The aim of this work was to map the area of the school psychology, highlight unifying components of the care provided by school psychologists for those pupils and eventually specify problems in the support of those pupils, but also of school psychologists themselves. In the theoretical part, mental disorders in the adolescence are presented, in particular affective and neurotic disorders, then possibilities of care provided by school psychologists are presented and eventually suggested interventions are specified in the area of the education for those pupils. In the empiric part, used qualitative methodology is presented in form of semi-structured interview and subsequently results of effected research are elaborated from six interviews with school psychologists. The final word is dedicated to the discussion and final resumé of results of the research.
