Abstract:

Magisterská práce Arnošt Píša a jeho bibliofilie: zpracování části fondu v Moravské zemské knihovně pojednává o Arnoštu Píšovi, který byl aktivní v knihkupecké a nakladatelské sféře. V roce 1989 otevřel druhé české knihkupectví v Brně a první český antikvariát v Brně. Později začal vydávat knihy. V jeho podniku se zaučilo několik osob, které později pokračovaly ve svém vlastním podnikání. První část práce seznamuje s osobností Arnošta Píši a s jeho profesními začátky, věnuje se také rozvoji jeho firmy a zaměření nakladatelství. Následuje kapitola s katalogizačními záznamy vybraných bibliofilií a publikací blížícími se k bibliofiliím z nakladatelské činnosti Arnošta Píši, které jsou uloženy ve fondech Moravské zemské knihovny. Záznamy byly vytvořeny podle metodiky MZK. Následují komentáře k nakladatelské činnosti a jedinečnostem jednotlivých svazků vyplývající z práce s fondem a sekundární literaturou. Ke všem vybraným knihám byl vypracován komentovaný soupis, pro který byly využity recenze a další publikační ohlasy v periodikách, kontextové informace a byly zohledněny výsledky katalogizace.

Abstract:

The master's thesis Arnošt Píša and his bibliophile publications: processing of a part of the collection in the Moravian Library in Brno deals with Arnošt Píša, who was active in the bookstore and publishing sphere. In 1989, he opened the second Czech bookstore in Brno and the first Czech antiquarian in Brno. He later began publishing books. Many people trained in his company and later started their own businesses. The first part of the work introduces the personality of Arnošt Píša and his professional beginnings, it also deals with the development of his company and the focus of the publishing house. The following chapter contains cataloging records of selected bibliophiles and publications approaching bibliophiles from the publishing activities of Arnošt Píša, which are part of the collection in the Moravian Library in Brno. The records were created according to the MZK methodology. The next part of master's thesis presents comments on publishing activities of Arnošt Píša and the uniqueness of individual volumes resulting from work with the collection and secondary literature. An annotated list was prepared for all selected books. This annotated list was based on reviews and other publication responses in periodicals, contextual information and the results of cataloging.
