User authentication in Windows OS
Abstract:
Tato práce je zaměřena na autentizaci uživatelů operačního systému Windows. Popsány jsou tři metody autentizace – pomocí hesel, čipových karet a biometrik. Práce čtenáře seznamuje s architekturou a bezpečnostními politikami systému, všímá si použité technologie, způsobu a místa uložení citlivých údajů. This work is focused on the user authentication to the Windows operating system. There are three authentication methods described - based on passwords, smart cards and biometrics. The work introduces the system authentication architecture and its security policies, noticing used technology, methods and place for storing authentication credentials.
