Regulation of heat shock response in cancer cells
Abstract:
Protein homeostasis is constantly attacked by stress signals from external and internal environment of the cell. Disturbed proteostasis subsequently induces proteotoxic stress. To neutralize this stress, cells developed a defense mechanism known as Heat Shock Response (HSR). Proteinová homeostáza je neustále napadána stresy z vnějšího a vnitřního prostředí buňky. Rozrušená proteostáza následně vyvolává proteotoxický stres. K neutralizaci tohoto stresu si buňky vyvinuly obranný mechanizmus známý jako odpověď tepelného šoku (HSR).
