Infections caused by enterococci
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá bakteriemi rodu Enterococcus a infekcemi, které způsobují. V práci je shrnuta historie enterokoků, taxonomie, morfologie, biochemické vlastnosti a faktory virulence. Rovněž je popsána laboratorní diagnostika enterokoků. Pozornost je také věnována problematice antibiotické rezistence.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis deals with bacteria of the genus Enterococcus and infections that cause. The thesis summarizes the history of enterococci, taxonomy, morphology, biochemical properties and virulence factors. It also describes the laboratory diagnosis of enterococci. Attention is also paid to the issue of antibiotic resistance.
