The issue of receptive music education at the at the Lower Grades of Primary Schools with a focus on semantic characteristics in music

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá hudebním významem jako východiskem receptivní hudební výchovy z pohledu žáků mladšího školního věku. V teoretické části práce je z hlediska receptivních činností analyzován Rámcový vzdělávací program pro základní vzdělávání. Tato část se rovněž zabývá vstupními významovými elementy, jednotlivými sémantickými aspekty, sémantickou analýzou a tím, jak je jejich prostřednictvím možné určit, co hudba vyjadřuje. Její součástí je také vhled do problematiky hudební didaktiky a toho, co je její součástí. Praktická část diplomové práce navazuje na teoretický úvod a prostřednictvím nejrůznějších aktivit spojených s vybranou konkrétní ukázkou vážné hudby zkoumá, jak žáci hudbu vnímají, co v nich vyvolává a co vyjadřuje. To vše je sledováno napříč ročníky s postupnou gradací aktivit od nejelementárnější znakové roviny ikonu až k rovině indexu. Navržené aktivity, ke kterým jsou rovněž vytvořeny metodické listy, budou ověřeny v praxi ve všech ročnících prvního stupně základní školy a zpětně reflektovány.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the musical meaning as a foundation point for receptive music education as seen by younger school age pupils. In its theoretical part, the Framework Educational Program for Basic Education has been analyzed from the point of view of receptive activities. This part of the thesis also deals with input elements of meaning, individual semantic aspects, semantic analysis and how it is possible to determine what the music expresses through them. It also includes an insight into the world of music didactics and into its constitutive parts. The practical part of the diploma thesis follows on from the theoretical introduction and, through various activities connected with a specific classical music sample as chosen, examines how music is perceived by pupils, what it evokes in them and what it expresses. All this is monitored across school years while activities gradually progress from the most elementary sign level (i.e., the icon level), as far as the index level. The activities proposed, for which methodical sheets have also been created, will have been verified in practice throughout all elementary school lower grades and also, in retrospect, reflected.
