Informatics and Information Ethics Education in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je informační etika na základních školách v České republice. Cílem první teoretické části je vytvoření přehledu toho, co znamená pojem informační etika a utřídění jednotlivých etických problémů, které vznikají na základních školách. V druhé teoretické části jsou analyzovány kurikulární dokumenty, podle kterých probíhá výuka na základních školách. Konkrétně to jsou: Národní program vzdělání (Bílá kniha), Rámcový vzdělávací program pro základní vzdělání, Školní vzdělávací plán Základní školy Hostýnské a osobní plán učitele. V těchto dokumentech jsou hledány zmínky o informační etice.Výzkumným cílem bylo zjistit, jaká je kvalita výuky informační etiky na základních školách, konkrétně v pátých a šestých třídách. Vedle výzkumných otázek byly stanoveny čtyři hypotézy. Výzkumná data byla získána pomocí dotazníkového šetření a ověřována byla zpětně řízenými rozhovory s učiteli a rodiči. Na konci jsou představeny výsledky výzkumu a jsou vyvozeny závěry.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor thesis is information ethics in elementary schools in the Czech Republic. The goal of the first theoretical part is the creation of a summary of what the concept “information ethics” means and the classification of individual ethical problems which arise in elementary schools. The second theoretical part contains an analysis of curricular documents which serve as a basis for instructions at elementary schools. Those are specifically: The National program of education, the Educational framework for elementary schooling, the Educational program of the Hostýnská elemetary school and the personal plan of the teacher. These documents serve as a basis for research of mentions of information ethics.The research goal was to find out the quality of information ethics intruction at elementary schools, specifically of fifth- and sixth-grade students. Four hypotheses have been put forward alongside the research questions. Data was obtained via survey and verified later via guided interviews with teachers and parents. In the end research results are presented with a discussion about possible solution.
