Graphs and curriculum of chemistry in high school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o grafech ve vztahu k učivu chemie na střední škole. Hlavním cílem práce je analyzovat grafická znázornění v učebnicích chemie se záměrem zjistit výskyt typických grafů a vytvořit pro učitele náměty dalších grafů využitelných ve výuce chemie na střední škole. Teoretická část práce se zabývá didaktickými zásadami ve výuce, stručným popisem částí a typů grafů a kurikulem, tedy zařazením problematiky grafů do Rámcového vzdělávacího programu pro ZŠ a pro G. Ve druhé, praktické části, jsou analyzovány vybrané učebnice chemie z pohledu výskytu grafů, jsou uvedeny výsledky realizovaného výzkumného šetření s učiteli chemie a s žáky. Poslední kapitola se věnuje vytvořeným grafickým námětům pro učitele využitelných ve výuce chemie na střední škole.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on graphs in relation to teaching chemistry at the secondary school level. Its main objective is to analyse graphical representations in chemistry textbooks, aiming to identify the occurrence of typical graphs and create suggestions for additional graphs usable in chemistry education at the secondary school level. The theoretical part addresses didactic principles in teaching, briefly describes parts and types of graphs, and the curriculum, incorporating the issue of the graphs into the Framework Educational Program for primary schools and grammar schools. The second, practical part, analyses selected chemistry textbooks concerning the presence of graphs, and presents the results of conducted research surveys with chemistry teachers and students. The final chapter is dedicated to the developed graphical ideas for teachers usable in chemistry education at secondary schools.
