Design of the salient-pole synchronous machine

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce je zaměřena na elektromagnetický návrh synchronního generátoru s vyniklými póly společně s navrhnutím hlavních rozměrů a konstrukčního uspořádání stroje. Práce popisuje vinutí statoru a zároveň zahrnuje zjištění možného počtu paralelních větví a řez drážky. Text níže dále obsahuje návrh magnetického obvodu společně s magnetizační charakteristikou stroje. V závěru práce je též navrženo budící vinutí, vypočtené ztráty a účinnost stroje. Práce je podpořena podélným a příčným řezem statoru a rotoru. Navržený generátor je dimenzován na výkon 10 MVA.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the electromagnetic design of synchronous generator with salient poles together with designing the main dimension and structural design of the machine. The thesis describes the stator winding and also includes determining the possible number of parallel branches and cut of the groove. The text bellow contains further proposal of the magnetic circuit together with the magnetization characteristic of the machine. In conclusion is also suggested exciter windings, calculated losses and efficiency of the machine. It is supported by longitudinal and cross sectional view of the stator and rotor. The proposed generator is rated at 10 MVA power.
