Carbon and its inorganic compounds in the teaching of chemistry

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem uhlík a anorganické sloučeniny uhlíku. V teoretické části sleduje a analyzuje zastoupení klíčových pojmů, pokusů a obrazových komponentů doprovázející toto téma v 8 učebnicích pro 2.stupeň základních škol a v 9 učebnicích pro střední školy. Analýza učebnic je doplněna o jejich didaktickou vybavenost. V rešeršní části je zpracováno více než 70 odborných i populárně naučných informačních zdrojů z článků, sborníků literatury, webových stránek či videoprogramů. Na tomto základě je v praktické části vytvořeno 14 přehledných karet ve formátu A4, jež rozšiřují poznatky z učebnic o novinky a zajímavosti z rešeršní části práce a mohou být vhodným doplňkem při výuce. Karty jsou vytvářeny pomocí webové aplikace Canva (verze PRO), součástí karet jsou volně dostupné obrázky z této aplikace. V bakalářské práci byla také zpracována anotace 16 videoexperimentů a videoprogramů. Bylo zjištěno, které učebnice pro základní a střední školy jsou nejlépe zpracovány v jednotlivých sledovaných parametrech v kapitole uhlík a anorganické sloučeniny a tyto výsledky porovnány s dalšími zdroji, které se problematikou analýzy učebnic chemie zabývají.

Abstract:

The submitted bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of carbon and inorganic carbon compounds. In the theoretical part, it follows and analyzes the representation of key words, experiments and visual components accompanying this topic in 8 textbooks for the 2nd grade of elementary schools and in 9 textbooks for secondary schools. The analysis of textbooks is supplemented by their didactic equipment. In the research part, more than 70 professional and popular scientific information sources from articles, collections of literature, websites and video programs are processed. On this basis, 14 visual cards in A4 format are created in the practical part, which expand the knowledge from the textbooks with news and interesting things from the research part of the work and can be a suitable supplement during teaching. The cards are created using the Canva web application (PRO version), the cards include freely available images from this application. An annotation of 16 video experiments and video programs was also processed in the bachelor's thesis. It was determined which textbooks for primary and secondary schools are best processed in the individual monitored parameters in the carbon and inorganic compounds chapter, and these results were compared with other sources that deal with the issue of chemistry textbook analysis.
