Construction of offender's portrait by memory traces

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o portrétní identifikace, která je řazena mezi nejzajímavější kriminalistickou metodu. Obsah práce je rozdělen na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se věnuje portrétní identifikaci, historii, vnějším znakům, popisu osoby a jednotlivým způsobům sestavování portrétu. Další část je zaměřena na paměťové stopy, jejich druhy, vznik a také na paměťové stopy z pohledu policejní a forenzní psychologie. Součástí praktické části je experiment, který je založen na paměťových stopách a zapamatování. Cílem experimentu je zjistit, jaké množství informací je možné si zapamatovat na pozorovaných osobách a to i s časovým odstupem.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with portrait identification, which we rank among the most interesting criminology method. The content of the work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with portrait identification, history, external features, description of the person and various ways of compiling a portrait. The next part is focused on memory traces, their types, origin and also memory traces from the point of view of police and forensic psychology. Part of the practical part is an experiment, which is based on memory traces and forgetting. The aim of the experiment is to find out how much information can be remembered on the observed persons, even with a time lag.
