Development of communication skills in children with hearing impairment

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce "Vývoj komunikačních schopností u dětí se sluchovým postižením" se zaměřuje na dvě rodiny s dětmi se sluchovým postižením. V jedné rodině se jedná o rodiče slyšící, v rodině druhé jsou rodiče se sluchovým postižením. Práce se skládá ze tří hlavních kapitol. První dvě kapitoly jsou teoretické části, třetí kapitola je věnována výzkumnému šetření. V teoretické části kapitoly seznamují s vývojem dítěte se sluchovým postižením, jeho rodinou a také se zaměřuje na vzdělávání těchto dětí. Dále vysvětluje pojem komunikace, jsou představeny komunikační systémy kterými mohou osoby se sluchovým postižením komunikovat. Třetí, výzkumná část byla zpracována kvalitativní metodologií, formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů.K dosažení cílů práce bylo využito analýzy rozhovorů a metody otevřeného kódování. Z výsledků výzkumu vyplývá, že na vývoji řeči u dětí se sluchovým postižením se podílí mnoho individuálních faktorů, který samotný vývoj ovlivňují.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis "Development of communication skills for children with hearing disability " The thesis focuses on two families with children having hearing impairment. The First family, both parents hear. The other family both parents have hearing impairment. The thesis consists of three main chapters. The first two chapters are theoretical and the third part is research. The theoretical chapters apprise us with the development of the child with hearing impairment, and also focuses on children’s education. Further it explains the concept of communication and introducing communication systems used by people with hearing impairment. On the research part was used The qualitatively methodology, in the form of semi-structured interviews to achieve this was used analysis of interviews and the method of open coding. The research results show the development of speech for children with hearing impairment involves many individual factors that develop itself.
