Open data and data portals at the regional and city level

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá charakteristikami otevřených dat a analýzou datových portálů na úrovni měst. Obsahuje vymezení základní pojmů, funkce a služby datových portálů včetně ukázek z praxe. Vybrané datové portály hlavních měst v Evropě jsou ohodnoceny na základě metodiky indexu GODI. V závěru jsou diskutovány výsledky a představena doporučení s ohledem na zjištění i aktuální trendy.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the characteristics of open data and analysis of data portals at the city level. It contains the definition of basic concepts, features and services of data portals, including examples from practice. Selected data portals of capital cities in Europe are evaluated on the basis of the GODI index methodology. Finally, the results are discussed and recommendations are presented with regard to the findings and current trends.
