Phillips curve - empirical analysis for selected economy
Abstract:
V této bakalářské práci se zabývám odhadem Phillipsových křivek na datech Spolkové republiky Německo. Analyzuji vztahy mezi inflací a mezerou nezaměstnanosti a inflací a mezerou HDP. První část je věnovaná zpracování dat. V empirické části je odhadována platnost křivek pomocí ekonometrických metod, konkrétně metody nejmenších čtverců. Ve výsledcích i přes různé modifikace nalézám hledané vztahy.
Abstract:
In my bachelor's thesis, I deal with the Phillips curves estimation based on the Federal Republic of Germany's data. I analyze the relations between the inflation rate and the unemployment gap, as well as the ones between the inflation rate and the GDP gap.
