Palliative Child Care in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem aktuální dětské paliativní péče v České republice a možnostmi uplatnění speciálního pedagoga v této péči. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. První část je zaměřena na definování základních pojmů oboru paliativní péče se zaměřením na péči o děti a vymezení klíčových pojmů, charakteristik a forem. V druhé, praktické části bakalářské práce, jsou pak představeny konkrétní informace vybraných poskytovatelů paliativní péče. Dále jsou uvedeny informace o realizovaném průzkumu u poskytovatelů paliativní péče, jehož cílem bylo získat informace o poskytování dětské paliativní péče a získat tak zpětnou vazbu o jejich názorech a zkušenostech se zapojením speciálního pedagoga v rámci fungování jejich týmů.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of current children's palliative care in the Czech Republic and the possibilities of the special educator's application in this care. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The first part is focused on defining the basic concepts of the field of palliative care with a focus on the care of children and defining the key concepts, characteristics and forms. Then in the second, practical part of the bachelor thesis, specific information of selected palliative care providers is presented. Furthermore, information is presented on a survey of palliative care providers to obtain information about children's palliative care and to obtain feedback on their views and experiences with the involvement of a special educator in their teams.
