Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku krajiny středního Krušnohoří v česko-německém pohraničí. Zabývá se minulostí krajiny v prostoru zaniklých Sudet, jejím vývojem a proměnami v souvislostech s dějinnými událostmi a kulturními vlivy od dob vzniku, válečným a poválečným vysídlením až do dnešních dní.
